How Do I Become A Mason?

The way it works, in Colorado, is that one member of the Lodge you want to join must have know you for at least 6 months. He would be one of the two people who have to sign your application for membership. Once your application has been submitted, the investigation team, which consists of three members of the lodge, would interview you, in your home, with your significant other present. They will ask you a few questions and answer any questions, either one of you may have. They will report back to the Lodge, with thier reccomendation, and the Lodge will vote on your application. Once that occurs, assuming you are accepted, you would go through the Entered Apprentice ritual, which is usually within the next 30 days.

The way it works in our Lodge, is that you would attend the dinners that we have before each meeting. You would be welcome to stay while the Lodge is in session although you could not be in the meeting. However, one of the members of the Lodge will be outside of the meeting and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Once the meeting is over, we usually, head over to the local pub for a drink or two. You would be welcome to join us.

We also try to have a social event of some kind every month or so, and you and your significant other would be welcome to join in. Actually, this is a great way to meet every body, both members and their families, and find out if you like us and we like you.
